Five years ago, I found myself in a position that you never want to be in as a parent.

You see, my son Jack was an active, fun-loving child and a AAA hockey player when he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August 2003. He's been a SickKids patient ever since.

I just can't say enugh good things about the hospital. The expert, compassionate people at SickKids will give you everything they have. We're so relieved that Jack is now back home and doing well.

In fact, SickKids is the only children's hospital in Ontario to provide the full range of complex cancer treatments for kids like Jack.

It's a hospital of heroes, pure and simple. They saved my boy's life, and I will be forever grateful.
